Eat

Indulge in food influenced by season, locally grown and convivially served. Snacks in the bar, lunch or dinner in the dining room or take a picnic while you explore. Our menu varies throughout the month with produce off Mersea day boats, meat from rare breed animals, wild game in season and vegetables and fruit from East Anglia and around the UK.

For Sunday lunch, three delicious roasts are served alongside our full menu and a kid’s menu or smaller portions are available at weekends and school holidays.

Please note that our festive menus for December are released by 6th September for those wishing to book for Christmas get-togethers and festive parties.

Drink

We love our drinks as much as our food. Whether it be the mighty fine Brewers Gold from Crouch Vale Brewery or eclectic wine, tea and coffee direct from growers, we seek products from people who are as fanatical about what they do as we are. Some of these suppliers and producers have been working with us since we opened and we are continually searching for drinks to excite as well as revive!
