The grapes harvested during my Road Trip to Australia (and New Zealand) are now wine and in our cellar. Giles Cooke MW of Thistledown Wines will be here to share them and their story. It’s a wine dinner not to be missed.

I was lucky enough to travel to Australia and New Zealand during their harvest in March 2018. It came about following a dinner I had with Giles where we discussed everything from terroir, cost of wine, customer perception of different regions and grapes to his latest project, Thistledown Wines. Giles was brave enough to allow me to accompany him on his annual harvest visit to South Australia where he oversees the harvest and wine making process at Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills. Thistledown Wines was created by Giles to make small-batch wines that illustrate the benefits of great sites and intelligent winemaking.

£65 per person, payable upon booking, transferable but non-refundable. The Aperitivo will be served in the oak room from 6.45pm with dinner served sharp at 7.30pm. Bookings are not confirmed until full payment has been recieved. Please inform us in advance if you or any of your party have any allergies as we will be unable to make changes to the dishes without prior notice. BOOK HERE or call us.
